About
Shenzhen-based sourcing and manufacturing leadership—hands-on across suppliers, quality, and production ramps.
Sourcing & manufacturing leadership, on the ground
I live in Shenzhen and work directly with factories across China and the wider APAC supply base. I help teams move from early concepts to stable, repeatable production—without surprises on quality, cost, or schedule.
My role is hands-on: I translate business goals into factory-ready specifications, run sampling and pilot builds, and install the quality and reporting cadence that keeps stakeholders aligned through ramp and launch.
Factory selection
Shortlists based on capability, compliance, responsiveness, and capacity fit—validated with on-site checks.
Sampling & DFM
Manage iteration cycles, lock specs, and reduce risk before money is spent on tooling and scale commitments.
Quality systems
AQL plans, line checks, golden samples, supplier scorecards, and corrective actions with clear owners.
Commercials & launch
MOQ/payment terms, negotiation, timeline control, and on-site coordination to keep ramps and ship dates on track.
How I work
- Clear weekly status: risks, decisions needed, and next gates.
- Fast feedback loops between factory, lab, and stakeholders.
- Practical documentation: specs, QC plans, and change control.
- Local context: I’m close to the floor when it matters most.
Principles
No spin—factory reality, risks, and options delivered plainly so you can choose with eyes open.
Short cycles, fast approvals, and pre-agreed gates keep programs moving even when issues surface.
Scorecards, checklists, and clear ownership make it easy to onboard teams and keep quality repeatable.
